2025 Hillendale, Overlea and Parkville Revitalization Information After the incubation and successful execution of creating a taskforce that has been revitalizing the Essex community, the Chamber leads in improving community in other local communities in Eastern Baltimore County: Hillendale, Overlea and Parkville. These three communities have been designated by Baltimore County as commercial revitalization districts, or areas that have businesses in which the County is looking to provide further support to. Facade Improvement Grant Program The 2025 HOP (Hillendale, Overlea and Parkville) Facade Improvement Grant aims to create investment in and improvements to building exteriors in the HOP areas. By aiming to create an attractive and inviting commercial/ retail area, the businesses in these districts will be contributing to the economic vitality for the community and promote regular use by visitors and residents. Through this grant, funding is provided to cover costs associated with approved exterior renovations. |
